Privacy Policy
Last updated October 18, 2026. This policy explains what information BeyondYou, LLC (doing business as Beyond You Media, Beyond You Music and Beyond You TV) collects when you use beyondyoumedia.com and the studio at app.beyondyoumedia.com, and how we use it.
What we collect
Account information. When you sign up with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture from your Google account. If you sign up with email, we collect your email address and a password, which we store only in encrypted (hashed) form. We do not receive your Google password, contacts, files or any other Google data.
What you make and upload. Songs, lyrics, scripts, images, recordings, characters, videos and other files you create or upload in the studio are stored so you can use them in your library.
Payments. Payments are handled by Stripe. We receive your name, email, plan and payment status, but never your full card number.
Usage information. We keep basic logs such as the time of a request, your IP address and which features you used, to run the service, prevent abuse and fix problems.
Messages. If you contact us or submit a song to Radio, we keep the information you send.
How we use it
We use your information to provide and improve the studio, keep your library private to you, process payments and plan limits, review Radio submissions, show your creator profile when you choose to publish, respond to you, and send account notices. If you agree to marketing emails, we may also send news and offers; you can unsubscribe at any time.
What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your private creations to advertise, and we do not share your library with anyone unless you choose to publish or submit something.
Who we share with
We share information only with the providers that help us run the service, such as cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), payments (Stripe) and sign-in (Google), and only as needed for them to do that work. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our users and the service.
Your choices
You can view and delete items in your library at any time. You can ask us to delete your account and everything in it, or to send you a copy of your information, by emailing us. Content you submitted to Radio that has already aired may remain in our broadcast records.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and library while your account is open. When you delete an item it moves to trash and is then permanently removed. When you delete your account, we remove your information within 30 days, except what we must keep for legal, tax or payment records.
Security
Our site and studio use encrypted connections (HTTPS), and access to our servers is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.
Children
The studio is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Free listening is open to everyone.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, for important changes, let account holders know.
